On the Saturday before Christmas 2009, Myself and a few others were privileged to a trip to view Roger Burdett's collection of restored and part-restored buse's and coaches plus others on both sites. It was an unbelievable day with a rare insight into what is going on behind the scenes of the restoration of some important vehicles, Many thanks to Roger and Lin for their hospitality.

On 24th of October 2009, preserved Midland Red CM5 780 GHA and CM6T BHA 656C Ran from Digbeth to Victoria Coach station London to celebrate the M1's 50th Birthday, and on Monday the 2 of November Watford Gap celebrated it's 50th.
